Earlier today, Stardew Valley creator Eric Barone Tweeted about how he’s working on the mobile and console versions of Stardew Valley 1.6 and how he will announce when there is any meaningful news for the update. If you haven’t kept up with that, read about Stardew Valley 1.6 . Following that Tweet, he also posted about how he will never charge for updates and DLC for Stardew Valley. He also asked to screencap that post (linked below) if he ever breaks the vow. Stardew Valley is one of the best supported games ever with tons of free updates that go well above the usual post-launch support you’d expect, let alone delivering it for free.
If you’ve not played Stardew Valley yet on mobile, read for the iOS version, our feature, and also my comparison for the mobile and Switch versions . You can buy Stardew Valley on the App Store for iOS and for Android on Google Play. It is also available on Apple Arcade. Here’s our on the game for more discussion. Have you tried Stardew Valley 1.6 on PC yet or are you waiting for the patch to hit mobile and consoles?
I swear on the honor of my family name, i will never charge money for a DLC or update for as long as I live. Screencap this and shame me if I ever violate this oath
