Appeon, a provider of software for accelerating the development of data-rich business apps, announces that Maintenance Releases ("MR") #2170 for Appeon PowerBuilder 2019. This MR includes the latest support to both Oracle 18c and 19c and other important bug fixes.

PowerBuilder 2019 MR 2170 supports the following new features:

Bug Fixes
- The pictures (mainly GIF icons) with transparent background are displayed with black background in the tab page.
- When the number in JSON format uses the comma (",") as the decimal point, the JsonParser LoadFile function will fail to load the number.
- "Application 'test' not found in library" error occurs when executing PBC.
- DataWindow Click/Scroll is extremely slow when the runtime package does not include the PBTheme190.dll file.
- Decimal numbers will lose precision when exported using ExportJSON.
- DataWindow PictureButtons render blurry.
- Sort condition with computed fields in a DataWindow are lost.
PowerServer (PB edition) Bug Fixes List
PowerServer Toolkit 2019 MR 2170 supports the following new features:
- Supports deploying applications to PowerServer 2020
- Enhances the application packaging tool
. Mobile templates are available for installation from Internet.
. The package profile configuration process and the packaging process are logically separated.
. The packaging tool no longer generates the Android APK file; it only generates the Android project files.
- Supports deploying application via SFTP
Bug Fixes
- Application does not work on Chrome when Chrome's language is set to Arabic.
- of_getappeonwebversion and of_getappeonadtversion does not work and should be removed from the workarounds PBL.
- The offline application whose start mode is "offline" does not run when PowerServer and Appeon Workspace are upgraded to a major version.
- The virtual numeric keyboard has no period (.) on Samsung device.
- Appeon Debugger always pops up JS size over 500k error on Windows 10 even if it is a very small app.
PowerBuilder is an integrated development environment owned by SAP since the acquisition of Sybase in 2010. On July 5, 2016, SAP and Appeon entered into an agreement whereby Appeon would be responsible for developing, selling, and supporting PowerBuilder.
