An indie games event that's actually focused solely around mobile games in particular is kind of ambitious for Google to do, but with the idea that they want to link up everyday people, YouTubers, and game developers, all around the nexus of mobile games, is a gambit that I hope pays off. Too many indie gaming events treat mobile gaming as secondary despite how influential it has been in the rise of independent game development, so while I won't be able to make it out to the event at Terra Gallery in San Francisco on the 24th (because I'm not in the Bay Area and Baroness is performing here that night), hopefully this proves to be a worthwhile and continuing showcase for mobile games.
