Hello everyone, and welcome to the week! It's time once again for our look back at the most noteworthy updates of the last seven days. Some awesome games got 64-bit compatibility in the last week! But besides that, some other games got some pretty cool content updates, too. Of course, you can keep an eye out for updates yourself using

There are lots of different ways to enjoy TypeShift. The daily puzzles are a nice regular reason to visit the game, for example. But if you like the puzzle packs, then your fun with the game is finite in that once you've cleared them all, there's no strong reason to go back. Well, lucky for you, this game seems to be getting new packs monthly. This month sees two packs of clue puzzles and one bundle of standard puzzle packs added to the game, along with one free booster pack. This update also allows you to use hints on the daily puzzles, at the cost of not being able to post your final score. Sounds good!

Last night when I was out for my nightly walk with Mrs. Musgrave, we happened across a few cars parked in odd places. My wife suspected they were up to nefarious ends, but I had an inkling and took out my iPhone. Turns out there were some new gyms in the neighborhood, which is kind of the biggest point of the latest Pokemon Go update. In addition to the changes made to gyms, the other big update to the game is the new Raid Battle feature. High level trainers can now work together to tackle big battles. There's more to it than all of that, but one paragraph isn't going to be able to cover the details. Strange to see this one still kicking with such force.

Some good content got added to Heroes of Steel this week, bringing the game a little closer to its conclusion. There are two new dungeons to conquer in the final Ember area of Episode 4. Speaking of Ember, it's no longer a point of no return. You can now exit and head back to the War Camps if needed. Aside from that, there are a couple of little UI tweaks and bug fixes, which are welcome but not terribly exciting to fill a feature with. Come on, where are the ninjas and dry ice?

Multimash Potato Galaga got a sweet update this last week. It adds a brand new mission that everyone can play with no additional purchase, lengthening the game by a significant chunk. Mulholland Tab Bagel Girl also received an auto-save feature, a quick restart button, a new leaderboard and some new achievements, and more. Check it out! I am not writing its name with all the dots because even I have my limits for stylized naming, sorry. But I will offer Muumuu Marble Tubby Grill the coveted UMMSMotW award for this week, which I hope its developers always cherish.

This War of Mine is celebrating its second anniversary with the release of This War of Mine: Anniversary Edition, a free add-on that adds new characters, new places to check out, and a completely new ending. Hey, I wonder if it's a happy ending? Well anyway, as I said, it's a free DLC. The game itself is also on sale for an absurdly low price at the moment, so there's never been a better time to depress yourself.

Friends, how rich are these Subway Surfers kids? They're going to a new country like every two weeks and it's pretty much no bigs. I'm guessing those coins they pick up are made from real gold or something, which makes me wonder who is leaving all that laying around and why it hasn't destabilized the world economy? Oh right. Um, the kids go to Morocco this time. Collect tajines, ride on a Cobra board, and score a Nomad outfit for Snake Charmer Salma. Deserts, secret gardens, and more await these tiny, adorable gazillionaires. Have fun DESTROYING THE GOLD STANDARD, you decadent little hooligans!

Game design is an art form where there are few universal truths, but one old creative axiom continues to hold true: you can never go wrong by adding dinosaurs. This week's example is Dashy Crashy, which has added a playable dinosaur to the roster. It's only a temporary addition unless you eat enough meat, but whatever. Dinosaur. It can crush cars with its spin attack and become a megosaur by smashing three in a row. It's also easier and cheaper to get chances at new cars, and some systems have been added that make the chances of pulling duplicates lower. DINOSAUR.

Vainglory's update has no dinosaurs, unfortunately. But it does have a new character named Grace. She can protect her allies with shields and drop some serious healing magic, making her a useful member of any group. Besides the new (non-dinosaur) character, there are some new (non-dinosaur) skins, some balance adjustments to a few characters and items, and some (non-dinosaur) bug fixes and quality of life improvements.

Adding more levels is usually the sort of thing everyone can agree is good. Telepaint just added 40 new levels, so how about that? They are not free, though. They're available through a $0.99 IAP, which is a pretty darned good price. Still, some people are angry. Such is the way of the world, and why we need things like cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, and alligators. And dinosaurs. Telepaint will also give you the warm and fuzzies if you let it. Allow it into your hearts, friends.

Let's finish this off with a look at the smashing update that Burrito Bison: Launcha Libre got last week. It includes a tough new opponent to unlock, a new stopwatch mode that sees you racing as far as you can with a time limit, a new gummy boost, and Facebook integration. Everyone just loves that last one. So now you can share with your family, friends, co-workers, and all those other people who don't really care what silly app you're playing and would rather not get notifications about it. Well, good update anyway.

That about wraps it up for last week's significant updates. I'm sure I've missed some, though, so please feel free to comment below and let everyone know if you think something should be mentioned. As usual, major updates will likely get their own news stories throughout this week, and I'll be back next Monday to summarize and fill in the blanks. Have a great week!
