Apart from the refreshed UI design, the update also improves the performance of the Galaxy A50. The Android 11 update brings a dedicated conversations section in the notification area, a media player widget in the quick settings panel, chat bubbles, one-time permissions, permissions auto reset, and easier smart device controls to the phone.
Other features include improved Dynamic Lock screen, more lock screen widgets and AoD options, video backgrounds for calls, more options in Bixby Routines, improved Digital Wellbeing and Parental Controls, double-tap gesture to turn off the screen, improved camera autofocus performance, and improved stock apps.
