After taking a break last week, SNK and Hamster are back with a new release in the ACA NeoGeo series on mobile. Classic fighting game KOF 2001 ACA NeoGeo is this week’s new release, and it brings us closer to having the complete set of older KOF games on iOS and Android through this release. KOF 2001 ACA NeoGeo or The King of Fighters 2001 originally released in 2001 from SNK and it is the third entry in the NESTS collection which concludes in this release. It features 40 characters with up to four fighters in a team through the Tactical Order Select system. As I , iOS 16 seems to be causing some issues with the games in this series, but waiting for the leaderboards check to fail solves the issue. It takes about 20 seconds, but it works fine on iOS 15 without this. Hopefully Hamster and SNK can address the current issues that affect some players as reported in updates soon.
