The AdminZilla Network Administrator is a simple application that allows you to monitor live screens of remote computers. You can take control of a remote computer by controlling the mouse and keyboard. This way, you can always watch what your students are doing and help them if needed. This turns the application into powerful classroom monitoring and classroom management software. Several tools allow you to take different actions on remote computers e.g. restart, lock, hibernate, disable printing, disable Task Manager, disable USB drives, disable Ctr+Alt+Del, blank computers, mute computers.... All can be done with just one click.
Set up multiple target computers
In order for the application to properly function, an agent needs to be deployed on the target machines so that data can be gathered and delivered to you. This takes up several seconds, with no other configuration options required, nor any noticeable traces left.
Adding a new computer for monitoring is easy, as you only have to input its IP address, used port and the agent password. Alternatively, you can let AdminZilla to look for computers in the network that have the agent installed within a specific IP range.
Real-time updating image feedback
Computers placed under surveillance are displayed as thumbnails inside an intuitive interface and sorted out by name. Activity on monitored computers can be viewed with the help of dedicated windows, and depending on the quality of your connection, images can update almost in real-time, once every a few seconds.
You can zoom in to a selected remote computer to take a closer look and you will be able to view the remote desktop as if you were in front of it. Furthermore, you can take control with just a click and send 'ALT-CTRL-Delete' commands, which comes in handy if you want to provide remote assistance.
Terminate processes and launch applications
You are not limited to viewing, the application having a few more aces up its sleeves. In other words, you have access to a process viewer, with the possibility to terminate anything running on the selected computer, as well as playing with several other tools.
Amongst others, all power options can be directly triggered, start / stop the screensaver, and even lock down the computer. Furthermore, you can launch applications or files by providing the full path on the target machine, or open up web pages and documents in the default browser. In case you're monitoring your home computer, the application can be used as a means of parental control.
Monitor computers on the go
