If you enjoy narrative-based games like Fallen London [], you should keep an eye out for the upcoming by Alexis Kennedy, the founder of Failbetter Games and a writer and designer of Fallen London and Sunless Sea (which I hope ends up making its way to mobile soon). After amicably splitting from Failbetter Games to pursue other projects, Kennedy decided to make Cultist Simulator, a single-player digital board game of "mystery, experimentation and self-destruction." In the game you'll be crafting tools and summoning spirits, indoctrinating innocents (as one does), and choosing between sane and insane victory conditions, which sounds like proper fun to me.
The game is still ways off, with a projected completion date Halloween 2017. If the writing is anything like Fallen London, though, I'm quite interested, so I'll be keeping an eye on its development. Hopefully, it will end up being another fantastic story-based game.
