News Fortnite Chapter 4: Wind Currents Temporarily Disabled

Due to an issue, Fortnite has disabled wind currents across the Battle Royale Island.

While we investigate an issue, we are temporarily disabling wind currents across the Battle Royale map.

Wind currents are Chapter 4's version of Slipstreams, allowing players to fly across the map quickly. They were first removed in the v23.30 update due to unknown problems, but were re-enabled just two days ago after Epic thought the issue was resolved. Players reported that the issue is still present, causing wind currents to be disabled for the second time while Epic investigates.

Since a full game update is required to address this issue, it's likely that the feature will remain disabled until the release of the v23.50 update on February 28th. We'll keep you updated.
