Fortnite's latest Hotfix for Chapter 2, Season 8 is here with some minor changes and new additions to the game.
Icy Grappler
The new Exotic Icy Grappler Item is now live in-game and can be collected from the Fabio Sparklemane NPC for Gold Bars.
"Some people like to stick the landing. Others like to stay moving after landing. If you’re the latter type, the Icy Grappler is up your alley! Just like the regular Grappler, shoot its suction cup to fling yourself to a solid surface, but here’s the chilly twist: as you begin flying in the air, the Icy Grappler’s frostiness will freeze your feet, causing you to stay moving when you get to your destination."
The Icy Grappler cannot be found in competitive playlists.
The Classic Grappler
The regular Grappler Item, which was first introduced in Chapter 1 Season 5, has been re-introduced to the loot pool and can once again be found through Chests and Supply Drops.
The Grappler cannot be found in competitive playlists.
Horde Rush
Even though Fortnitemares 2021 has ended, the Horde Rush LTM and linked Quests are still available to complete but will be leaving on November 9 at 9am ET.
