5G in the country, promising large screens, good gaming performance, high-resolution mobile photography, and long-lasting battery life at an affordable price.

The Galaxy M15 features 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and it costs MXN 3,999 ($237). The budget phone is available in three color options: Dark Blue, Light Blue, and Gray.

The Galaxy M55 doubles the M15's memory and sports 8GB of RAM alongside 256GB of storage. It is available for MXN 7,999 ($474) in Light Green or Black.

Galaxy M15 and M55 specifications​


The budget Galaxy M15 sports a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 800 nits of brightness. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chip and a 6,000mAh battery with 25W charging.

The M15 sports a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone port a 50MP primary camera next to 5MP and 2MP ultra-wide and macro sensors, and runs Android 14 and One UI 6.

As for the Galaxy M55, it sports a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ panel with up to 1000 nits of brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. It features the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging.

The Galaxy M55 also sports a 50MP primary camera, this time with PDAF and OIS. It also features an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro shooter, along with a 50MP selfie camera. Other specs include an in-display fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 6, Always-On Display capabilities, and One UI 6.1.

Needless to say, neither the Galaxy M15 nor the M55 comes with Galaxy AI, as the Advanced Intelligence toolset is reserved for high-end phones.
