While last week’s report had revealed that it would come with a 12MP+12MP+8MP triple-camera setup, the actual model number of the sensor wasn’t disclosed. Noted tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) has now

The Sony IMX55 is a 1/1.76-inch sensor with 12MP resolution, dual-pixel PD autofocus, and 1.8µm pixels. Hopefully, Samsung has equipped it with OIS as well. Going by a previous report, the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition will also use a 12MP ultrawide camera and an 8MP telephoto camera with a 3x optical zoom. This also means that the phone won’t be able to record 8K videos as none of its cameras exceed the 33.2MP resolution (8K).
