Galaxy S20 FE (4G Snapdragon) gets July 2023 security update, starting with Latin America​


The latest software update, bearing firmware version G780GXXS6EWF3, has been released to the Galaxy S20 FE (SM-G780G). If you can remember, this version of the Galaxy S20 FE was released a few months after the original announcement of the Galaxy S20 FE. It was released in some Asian, European, and Latin American markets. The new update only brings security improvements, so don’t expect any new features or performance improvements.

To do that, navigate to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install. You can also choose to flash the firmware manually. And to do that, you need to download the new firmware file from
