Microsoft and Samsung’s collaborations are deepening with each passing day. Yesterday, it was announced that the companies had worked together to bring . Now, the Redmond-based company has mentioned that Samsung’s new flagship smartphones support cross-platform copy and paste with Windows 10.
The , , , and the now support cross-device copy and paste on computers running the Windows 10 operating system. The feature works when the Your Phone app is installed on the PC and is paired with any of the mentioned smartphones from Samsung. You’ll need to turn on the Cross-Device Copy and Paste feature from the Settings menu of the Your Phone app.
This functionality supports both text and images, and you can continue using the same copy and paste shortcuts that you currently use on the phone as well as the PC. However, larger-sized images will be downscaled to 1MB in size. Moreover, if you enable the Sync Over Mobile Data feature in the Your Phone app on your smartphone, copying and pasting images will consume a significant amount of your cellular data.
