China’s Quality Certification Centre has a device from Samsung with the model number SM-S9380. Now, the model number is SM-S9280. So, the SM-S9380, which is the next number in the series, is most likely the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
According to the certification, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is a ‘Satellite Mobile Terminal.’ This term most likely means that the phone has satellite connectivity, just like that on iPhones, allowing you to connect with emergency services even from areas where there is no cellular network, which makes this the first Samsung smartphone with satellite connectivity. That’s not all.
The listing also reveals that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have 45W charging, the same as the three previous generations of the smartphone. However, there’s a catch. While the previous phones offered 45W charging with 11Vx4.05A specification, the new one offers it over 15Vx3A specification. For now, we can’t say what benefits will this change offer in real life.
