The new update comes with the firmware version ending with ZXG3 and has a download size of 299.45MB. It also includes the , making it the first smartwatch to feature the latest security update.
According to the changelog, Samsung fixed several bugs and performance issues that were noticed in the first One UI 6 Watch beta update.
The new update brings better system stabilization and optimization. Samsung has also improved the power consumption, thereby increasing the battery life of the Galaxy Watch 5 and the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.
Samsung says that app launch and general app usage speed have also improved. Some changes were also made to solve network interconnection issues. However, a bug that stops the AoD display from turning off even when the watch isn't worn, and that bug hasn't been solved.
