User-replaceable battery with 15W fast charging


Unlike the company’s consumer-grade Galaxy smartphones released in recent years, the XCover Pro has a user-removable battery. It has a capacity of 4,050mAh and benefits from 15W fast charging.

Other features include a 6.3-inch FHD+ display, an Exynos 9611 octa-core chipset, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage expandable by up to 512GB via microSD.

The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, two programmable keys, NFC, Google AR Core support, Android 10, and is wrapped in an IP67 MIL-STD 816G-certified body.

, Samsung reveals the Galaxy XCover Pro is dual-SIM ready as far as the hardware goes, however, dual-SIM capabilities will be made available in the USA through an MR (maintenance release) update scheduled for the second half of 2020.

The smartphone is available for purchase online for $499, while retail store distribution via Microsoft, Samsung, and Verizon ‘will begin at a later date.’
