One of the games I'm most excited for from GDC wasn't even actually playable at the event, all we got was this (really cool) trailer. The game is called Esports Saga right now, which I warned the developers probably isn't a great thing given how into King is on anything that is a "Saga." In it, you manage a imaginary esports team that competes in a game that looks an awful lot like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Check out the trailer:
Esports Saga, or whatever it ends up being called, is still in development and will be released on mobile devices soon. I'm always excited for anyone to take a Kairosoft-like formula and do anything new or exciting with it, and Esports Saga checks both of those boxes.
