From June 30 later this year, display adverts built in flash will no longer be accepted by Google for advertising. On January 2, Google will completely disable all Flash advertisements that are already in the system. From then on we'll be experiencing (and enjoying to some degree) HTML5 adverts. If you happen to be an advertiser, the company has helpful documentation on how to update your Flash adverts.
