Samsung is very proud of the latest mobile chipset it's created. And to prove this to the world, the Korean company has just released an infographic that's all about the recently unveiled Exynos 8890. This will be one of the SoCs employed by the upcoming Galaxy S7 models, so everything that Samsung's packed into the 8890 will impact the mobile world very soon indeed. The company boasts that its custom CPU core used in the Exynos 8890 brings with it 30% more performance and 10% better energy efficiency when compared to the Exynos 7420 from last year's flagships. As for the built-in LTE modem, it supports Cat.12 download speeds (up to 600Mbps) and Cat.13 uploads (150Mbps maximum), so it's ready for the networks of tomorrow. Source |...
