InvenSense announced the company is to provide its InvenSense Positioning Library (IPL) software and sensor-assisted positioning technology for the Kirin 950 processor by HiSilicon. This will allow smartphones, like the , to take advantage of more accurate positioning for turn-by-turn navigation.
