We have some good news for owners of the unlocked . According to a latest tweet from VP, Product Management at HTC Mo Versi, the handset will shortly receive the January update in the U.S. This release has been fired OTA (Over-The-Air) today and should hit unlocked handsets soon enough.
Since we're talking about unlocked versions of the HTC One M9, that unfortunately leaves those rocking carrier-branded variants (or who are located in Europe) to hold out until respective updates are pushed through channels.
