Installing / updating Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 16.9.x (all studio editions are supported)
The distribution contains materials that allow you to install or update (if already installed) Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 to version 16.9.1+. To do this, first update the installer 16.9.0 using this distribution, and then install the version 16.9.X you have in mind right away (without having to first install previous versions such as 16.9.1, 16.9.2, ... although this is not prohibited). You will not be able to go back by versions (only uninstalling and installing the required previous version)

In short, to install / update version 16.9.X you need to: update the installer, install certificates (if this is the first studio installation on Windows) and run the installer. In detail:
1. First, update the installer. Download this distribution directly to the folder where you downloaded Visual Studio 2019 distribution 16.9.0
2. Put certificates (if necessary). It is necessary - this is if the studio installer does not have access to the Internet and you did not install the 2019 studio certificates before. Install them by running Certificates_Setup.cmd from the Administrator. However, I note that repeated / multiple installation of certificates does not spoil anything.
3. Then install 16.9.X: Run the Setup_ <Edt> X.cmd file, where
<Edt> is the Visual Studio edition you need (Enterprise, Professional, Community, BuildTools, TeamExplorer, TestProfessional)
If you are installing not the latest version of the studio, then it is better to disable access to the Internet for the installer (otherwise there is a chance that the installer will download the latest list of components and start installing the latest version of the studio against the will)
I also note that using this distribution, you can install any version of the studio posted here. This is the advantage of distributing (even for the case when you have a fast Internet) in front of an online installer that does not give the opportunity to install any previous version. You can roll back to the previous version of the studio only by completely deleting the studio and installing the previous version, which you already need, again.
