MLB and Disney pick up 'League of Legends' streaming rights

BAMTech, the Major League Baseball- and Disney-owned streaming tech company, has signed a deal with Riot Games for the rights to League of Legends tournaments.

, the agreement calls for BAMTech to "pay a minimum $300 million through 2023" to Riot Games. In return, it'll get the exclusive rights to "stream and monetize" the company's popular multiplayer online battle arena game (MOBA).
