The carrier-locked version of the Galaxy S21 FE has started getting the September 2024 security update in the USA. It comes with firmware version G990USQSCGXH1 and includes the September 2024 security patch that found in the previous software version. It doesn't bring any new features or performance improvements.
The update is now available on AT&T, Comcast, Dish, Metro PCS, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and Xfinity Mobile networks in the USA.
If you have a Galaxy S21 FE's carrier-locked version, you can check for the new update on your device by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from and flash it manually.
