Mos Speedrun 2 [] was the absolute best sort of sequel you can find, both on the App Store and in terms of gaming generally. While it wasn't as focused on the short and hyper-precise speed-running segments of the original - instead preferring longer and more adventurous levels - it kept the elements that made Physmo's first game so essential, while expanding the experience into an essential content-rich platformer. While our and subsequent speak for themselves, personally I don't think I played an iOS game more than Mos Speedrun 2 in 2015, so if the initial price of $1.99 was an absolute bargain, the fact it has today gone on sale for free is an Ocean's Eleven-level heist, and I'd implore anyone who hasn't already downloaded Mos Speedrun 2 to run and jump to the App Store and try it out while this spontaneous reduction lasts.

Strangely, the developers haven't tweeted since this first reduction, so either Dark Souls 3 is as compelling as the critics claimed, or they're hard at work on even more essential mobile games. Regardless, I can't recommend Mos Speedrun 2 enough - it's rock hard, but oh so satisfying when you manage to complete a level in the time limit, and the virtual controls are some of the best on iPhone. The amount of secrets - including hidden skulls, special day-specific totems, and even some unmentioned and mysterious tasks to complete - gives the game a longevity far beyond the original, and for free you can't ask for more.
