, Samsung has released new updates for several Galaxy smartphones, and these updates all include last month's security patch. Even the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24 series, which were updated with the June 2024 security patch earlier this week, are getting an update with the older security patch in Europe.
However, while security has not been enhanced in these updates, they should bring other improvements, as suggested by their firmware versions. Samsung hasn't said what those improvements are, but it's possible the company is attempting to address some of the bugs and issues—including —users have faced since updating their phones to One UI 6.1.
