For the Galaxy S24 lineup, Samsung could release the third One UI 7 beta update sometime between December 30 and January 6 and around three more updates after that before beginning the rollout of the stable version.

This rumor will obviously disappoint many fans, though Samsung's decision—if true—is understandable. The One UI 7 beta program launched too close to 2025 and the unveiling of the Galaxy S25, and if cancelling the program for older devices will help the company more quickly get the finished update out the door, we're all for it.

Nothing is set in stone, though, and we will let you know if something changes, so stay tuned.
