A new rumor suggests Samsung will keep the / beta program exclusive to the lineup. Samsung will reportedly go straight to the release of the stable version in the first two weeks of February for other devices.
According to X user , who previously , Samsung doesn't plan to release beta updates for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21, and any Galaxy A-series device. On the upside, Samsung could update every eligible Galaxy S smartphone to One UI 7 before March.
Samsung has reportedly made this decision because One UI 7 is . And, as you may know, . There's no word on whether the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6 and other foldables will skip the beta program as well.

For the Galaxy S24 lineup, Samsung could release the third One UI 7 beta update sometime between December 30 and January 6 and around three more updates after that before beginning the rollout of the stable version.
This rumor will obviously disappoint many fans, though Samsung's decision—if true—is understandable. The One UI 7 beta program launched too close to 2025 and the unveiling of the Galaxy S25, and if cancelling the program for older devices will help the company more quickly get the finished update out the door, we're all for it.
