2019, we saw a fair amount of Sonos deals that got us rather excited. Sonos hardware tends to be quite pricy without many discounts throughout the year, making Prime Day one of the best times to shop for new speakers from the company.

This year, unfortunately, there aren't any Sonos deals as far as the eye can see. Everything from the Sonos One all the way up to the Sonos Arc is still set at full price, which is pretty disappointing if you were banking on savings similar to what we saw last Prime Day.

While there's no doubt Sonos makes incredible speakers, it's far from the only company creating quality audio gear. There are tons of alternatives out there, many of which are heavily discounted during Prime Day 2020.

Best Sonos One Alternatives:

Sonos One and Sonos Five alternatives

To kick things off, let's take a look at speaker alternatives for the

and Sonos Five. These are the standalone speakers you place throughout your home to fill every room with music/podcasts, and as you'll see below, there are plenty of other options for this type of speaker.

Amazon Echo Studio | $50 off at Amazon

Without a doubt, one of the best alternatives to the Sonos One is the Amazon Echo Studio. This is the best-sounding speaker in the entire Echo lineup, and even a year after its release, it's still just as incredible. Along with room-filling audio that'll make all your tunes sound excellent, you can also pair the Echo Studio with other Alexa speakers for playback in every room. The best part? It's $50 cheaper during Prime Day.

If you'd rather buy your audio gear from Bose instead of Amazon, you can't go wrong with the Bose Home Speaker 300. As you'd expect from the company, the Home Speaker 300 is a joy to listen to. It touts 360-degree audio despite its compact size, and the end result is great. It works with Alexa and Google Assistant, and if you have other Bose speakers, you can sync them together through the Bose mobile app. Right now, it's available for 23% off.

When it comes to a proper replacement for the Sonos Five, few speakers do it as well as the Bluesound Pulse 2i. This is a relatively unknown speaker, but once you listen to it, you'll never want to go back to anything else. You're getting ultra-powerful drivers, Blue's direct digital amp allows for playback without any distortion, and you can rely on a strong Wi-Fi connection in your home. Ready to take the plunge? Pick it up during Prime Day for $200 off its retail price.

Sonos Move alternatives

The

is one of the newest additions to the Sonos family, and it's also the company's one and only wireless speaker. Being able to take a speaker with you wherever you want is a wonderful luxury, especially when it sounds as good as the Move.

In place of any Prime Day deals for the Sonos Move, however, here are a few alternatives that are just as good.

Bose SoundLink Revolve | $80 off at Amazon

Going back to Bose for a moment, we have to mention the Bose SoundLink Revolve. The Revolve has a unique cylindrical shape, which according to the company, allows for its impressive 360-degree playback. We're are big fans of the compact design, and with a 12-hour battery, you don't have to worry about running out of juice. The Prime Day discount is also quite good, knocking $80 off the Revolve.

Should you be in the market for something a bit larger and more impressive, the JBL Boombox has you covered. Featuring a built-in carrying handle and easy-to-use buttons, the Boombox makes transportation and playback control wonderfully simple. Audio is powerful with big bass, you can expect 24-hour battery life, and an IPX7 rating protects against water. The only thing more noteworthy is its Prime Day discount of $120.

This is a downright gorgeous speaker from any angle, whether you're looking at its control knobs or premium carrying handle. Outside of its good looks, the Kilburn II packs big audio, 20-hour battery life, and IPX2 water-resistance. Pick it up during Prime Day and save $100 on your purchase.

Sonos Beam and Sonos Arc alternatives

Finally, we need to talk about replacements for the

. These are the two soundbars Sonos offers, both delivering killer audio for your home theater setup. It's a bummer that neither one is on sale for Prime Day, but thankfully, these alternatives make up for it.

Anker Nebula Soundbar | Save $90 at Amazon

The Anker Nebula is one of the coolest soundbars on the market. On the audio side of things, you're getting two subwoofers, two bass reflex ports, and a total power output of 100W. Paired with 2.1 surround sound support, you end up with fantastic audio. Where things get really interesting, however, is when you consider that the Nebula Soundbar doubles as a Fire TV streaming device — giving you access to Netflix, Hulu, and more in 4K. For 39% off during Prime Day, it's a steal.

Sticking with unique soundbars, we should also mention the Polk Audio Command. In addition to the soundbar itself, you're also getting a wireless subwoofer included with your purchase. This means you get excellent audio with booming bass, allowing for a better value than Sonos can ever offer. Not to mention, the soundbar is also an Alexa speaker! If you buy the Polk Audio Command during Prime Day, it can be yours for $100 off.

Finally, if you're in the market for something a bit simpler, a great option to consider is the Bose Solo 5. You won't find any Fire TV or Alexa integration, but what you do get is a rock-solid soundbar that packs a big punch for a low price. The Solo 5 is also quite compact, making it easy to fit onto just about any entertainment stand. You better act fast, though, because it's on sale for $99 off during Prime Day.

Will Sonos speakers be on sale during Black Friday?

With there not being any Sonos speakers on sale during Prime Day, that then begs the question — will we see any discounts during

?

At this point, we honestly aren't sure. Best Buy is hosting its early Black Friday sale right now, and looking through its website, there aren't any Sonos promotions to be found there either. It's possible other stores will have Sonos discounts of their own come actual Black Friday, but it doesn't seem very likely at this point.

Given that, you have a decision to make. You can go ahead and buy a Sonos speaker at full price, or nab any of the deals highlighted above. Living in a home with a bunch of Sonos speakers is pretty magical, but if you aren't 100% committed to that ecosystem, it's worth branching out and seeing what other companies have to offer.
