During 2019, we saw a fair amount of Sonos deals that got us rather excited. Sonos hardware tends to be quite pricy without many discounts throughout the year, making Prime Day one of the best times to shop for new speakers from the company.
This year, unfortunately, there aren't any Sonos deals as far as the eye can see. Everything from the Sonos One all the way up to the Sonos Arc is still set at full price, which is pretty disappointing if you were banking on savings similar to what we saw last Prime Day.
While there's no doubt Sonos makes incredible speakers, it's far from the only company creating quality audio gear. There are tons of alternatives out there, many of which are heavily discounted during Prime Day 2020.

Sonos One and Sonos Five alternatives
To kick things off, let's take a look at speaker alternatives for the and Sonos Five. These are the standalone speakers you place throughout your home to fill every room with music/podcasts, and as you'll see below, there are plenty of other options for this type of speaker.

Without a doubt, one of the best alternatives to the Sonos One is the Amazon Echo Studio. This is the best-sounding speaker in the entire Echo lineup, and even a year after its release, it's still just as incredible. In place of any Prime Day deals for the Sonos Move, however, here are a few alternatives that are just as good.

Going back to Bose for a moment, we have to mention the Bose SoundLink Revolve. Finally, we need to talk about replacements for the and . These are the two soundbars Sonos offers, both delivering killer audio for your home theater setup. It's a bummer that neither one is on sale for Prime Day, but thankfully, these alternatives make up for it.

Finally, if you're in the market for something a bit simpler, a great option to consider is the Bose Solo 5. The Solo 5 is also quite compact, making it easy to fit onto just about any entertainment stand. You better act fast, though, because it's on sale for $99 off during Prime Day.
Will Sonos speakers be on sale during Black Friday?
With there not being any Sonos speakers on sale during Prime Day, that then begs the question — will we see any discounts during ?
At this point, we honestly aren't sure. Best Buy is hosting its early Black Friday sale right now, and looking through its website, there aren't any Sonos promotions to be found there either. It's possible other stores will have Sonos discounts of their own come actual Black Friday, but it doesn't seem very likely at this point.
Given that, you have a decision to make. You can go ahead and buy a Sonos speaker at full price, or nab any of the deals highlighted above. Living in a home with a bunch of Sonos speakers is pretty magical, but if you aren't 100% committed to that ecosystem, it's worth branching out and seeing what other companies have to offer.
