Free Download Orange Tree Samples Evolution Modern Nylon v1.3.5 KONTAKT | 2.6 GB
Evolution Modern Nylon by Orange Tree Samples is a sampled nylon-string guitar instrument designed for expressive acoustic performances across classical, pop, rock, and flamenco music. Its rich, full tone offers a mellower alternative to steel-string guitars, while its responsive attack and range of articulations make it suitable for both delicate passages and more rhythmic arrangements.
The library was developed in collaboration with Rosewood Recording Company, a recording studio in Utah. Guy Randle, the studio's owner and recording engineer, used analog audio equipment to shape and emphasize the natural tonal qualities of the nylon-string guitar.
The sampling session featured guitarist Michael Dowdle, whose recording and performance experience spans a wide range of musical styles. His session work includes recordings with Marie Osmond, The Osmond Brothers, John Schneider, David Archuleta, and The Jets, as well as contributions to movie and television scores. His versatility helped create a collection of performances suited to different approaches to nylon guitar playing.
Software Overview
Evolution Modern Nylon provides a detailed set of sampled guitar articulations and performance techniques. Sustains, palm mutes, and harmonics form the foundation of its playable sound library, while body hits and string slaps add percussive elements for more varied arrangements.
Legato samples cover slides, hammer-ons, and pull-offs, helping create smoother transitions between notes. The instrument also includes a built-in strum pattern editor and adjustable pick positioning, allowing users to shape strumming behavior and tonal character.
For flamenco-inspired parts, moving the pick position closer to the bridge and using the included guitar body percussion hits can produce a more percussive performance. The library also supports multitracking for layered guitar arrangements.
