Continuing the trend of popular board games getting digital adaptations is Lanterns: The Harvest Festival on display at PAX. If you've never heard of it, is an award winning tile placement game that has you placing lanterns to celebrate the harvest festival which has a complex matching and scoring system.
Much like Carcassonne [], I think these games are always so much better digitally. Not needing to keep track of pieces, have a ton of space, and have all the scoring totaled up automatically just make for an overall better experience- Even if you do lose something by not interacting with the actual real-world pieces.
