Description:
A release of the open source raster graphics editor Pinta has been published, which is an attempt to rewrite the Paint.NET program using GTK in a simplified version. The editor provides a basic set of options for drawing and image processing, focusing on novice users. The interface is simplified as much as possible, the editor supports an unlimited rollback buffer, allows you to work with multiple layers, and is equipped with a set of tools for applying various effects and adjusting images. The Pinta code is distributed under the MIT license. The project is written in C# using Mono and Gtk# wrapping.
