Samsung is all set to unveil the on August 9 (see how that rhymes?), and the official pricing and release dates for various markets will be two key pieces of information that we will . The tells us the release date may be set for August 24, and we are now hearing about what may be the possible price of the Galaxy Note 9 in Europe, at least in Poland.
Same price, better hardware
Polish site Spider’s Web to have received information from one of Samsung’s employees who was present at a meeting at the company’s headquarters, where folks are already being trained so they can market the Galaxy Note 9 to consumers. The Galaxy Note 9 will reportedly be priced at PLN 4299, which equates to around €995, in Poland. This is for the base variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The site says it was able to confirm the price by talking to a retailer and that the Note 9 color options in the country will be black, blue, and purple.
The Galaxy Note 8 was launched at the same price in Europe last year, which makes this quite interesting. What would truly be impressive is if Samsung is able to actually offer rumored features like a and at the same price as the Note 8. Or, well, maybe it won’t be that impressive, as the company would still be charging more than it does for the Galaxy S9+. But it will tell us that Samsung isn’t ready to breach the €1,000 mark for its flagships just yet, though the Galaxy S10 or least the Galaxy X .
And, of course, nothing is official until Samsung confirms it. Maybe the price of the Galaxy Note 9 will end up going over the €1000 mark, and there’s naught we can do but wait and see whether that will turn out to be the case.
