Samsung is looking to build on this momentum to sell a lot more of its latest appliances in lucrative markets across Europe. The company has already built up a significant share in its home market of South Korea as well as elsewhere, including the United States.

European home appliances market is very lucrative

Samsung is already the leading home appliance brand in the United States and it's now looking for similar dominance in Europe, where the home appliance market is worth $25 billion, more than a third of the $60 billion global market.

Samsung's out in full force at EuroCucina 2024, one of the largest events for kitchen goods in the world. It has set up a 964 square meter booth at the event to show off all of its latest appliances and how they work together with the SmartThings ecosystem to improve conveniences for users.

Samsung's latest Bespoke AI products take center stage at the booth alongside its premium built-in kitchen products. Samsung has also introduced new products with features that fit European lifestyles, such as the AI Family Hub refrigerator with a 32-inch display and the Anyplace Induction cooktop with a 7-inch touch screen.

also has a 7-inch display that provides useful information as well as allowing users to take a phone call completely hands-free while they're doing their laundry.

The company does face an uphill battle in Europe as the market has many incumbent local players, including Bosch, Miele, and Electrolux. Chinese companies like Haier and TCL are also focusing on the European market.
