The Galaxy Tab A, which was , is currently running Android 5.0.2 (Lollipop). We did report six months back that the , but there was no official confirmation about it. However, Samsung has now revealed that it does plan to release Android 6.0 update for its mid-range tablet offering.
Samsung UK’s support centre has mentioned through Twitter to one of our regular readers that Marshmallow update for the is under development. However, the company did not reveal any information regarding the update’s release time frame. It’s a good news for Galaxy Tab A owners, and gives them a reason to hold on to their tablet. Do you think is improving?
