The Samsung Connect app enables users to control smart devices and appliances from their phone even when they’re not at home. They can accomplish tasks like scheduling the washing machine’s cycle, turning up the music and turning on the lights from their phone.

Samsung has released a new update for the Samsung Connect app in the Google Play Store. The changelog confirms that it brings support for Android 8.0 Oreo. A new Dashboard has also been implemented with this update.

Samsung has also made several improvements and additions to the Condition/Action features for the Automation functionality. Users can now add their favorite Scene and devices to the Dashboard and use them.
