. Both its high-end chipsets proved to be quite competitive. Now, the company seems to be working on a new Exynos processor.

According to GalaxyClub, Samsung is currently working on an Exynos chipset with model number S5E5515. The South Korean firm’s numbering scheme for its mobile processors is all over the place, so it is harder to guess if it’s a low-end, mid-range, or a high-end chipset. However, the publication states that the new Exynos chipset is most probably a mid-range processor.

The new chipset might not debut anytime soon, though. After the Exynos 980 (S5E9630) first appeared in our radar, the chipset took ten months to debut in a smartphone.
