After launching the and in the US, the UK, Korea, and some other important markets, Samsung has launched its latest flagship smartphones today in India. The Galaxy S8 is priced at INR 57,900 (around $893), while the Galaxy S8+ carries a price tag of INR 64,900 (around $987) in the country.
Both these smartphones would be available for preorder starting today, and will go on sale in India starting May 5. It will be as well as Samsung’s official online store. Samsung will offer its new convertible wireless charger for free to those consumers who preorder the Galaxy S8 or S8+ in India.
The Galaxy S8 and S8+ feature 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch QHD+ curved Super AMOLED displays, respectively. These smartphones feature a 12-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel secondary camera. The variants launched for the Indian market feature 10nm Exynos 8895 processors, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, and a hybrid dual-SIM slot.
