from The Elec, Samsung Electronics estimates that it will require 163.2 million units of OLED panels for its smartphone this year. Samsung Display, unfortunately, can supply only 159 million units, which is 97% of the the former’s requirements. As such, Samsung Electronics will have to source the remaining number of OLED panels from other companies.
