If you recall, 2D fighting game Skullgirls had a mobile version , with a beta test that happened that same year. However, the 2016 release wasn't met, but the game still lives. In fact, developer of the mobile version, Hidden Variable Studios, has announced along with publisher Autumn Games that Line will help distribute the game. Line has some success in the mobile gaming world with the Disney Tsum Tsum games, but this is obviously a bit different from those. Still, this is the Japanese mega-service and corporation branching out into western game publishing.
