in the United States. Intended to compensate for the upgrade Samsung missed in September, the OTA bundles 215 patches for vulnerabilities in the Android operating system and six for the firm’s own software.

To check to see if the release is ready for your Galaxy Note 5, open Settings, select Software Update, then tap Download Updates Manually.
