Hi everyone, it’s wildly surreal to come to the realisation that the console, or console brand, you’ve been playing on since the budding age of 6 is going to contain YOUR game! We are Y/CJ/Y, two best friends -Christopher with the programming fingers and Josef on the pixel machine – and together we made The Aquatic Adventure of the Last Human.
It’s a game about the extinction of humanity, our reflections on nature, and big scary boss monsters that will fight to the bitter end.
You embody the last living human and have just returned from a disastrous space mission to find the world has sunk underwater. In the quest for answers, you fight your way through the remorseless wildlife. It’s a game of contrast, reflective tranquillity and challenging action.
The Aquatic Adventure of the Last Human’s main focuses are exploration and huge boss-battles! You’ll never know what kind of gigantic creature might lurk just around the corner. On your journey you will have to upgrade your spaceship/submarine-hybrid and equip it with new weapons so you can overcome any challenge that awaits. Boulders blocking your way? Blast through them with an explosive torpedo!
Delve deep down to the great abyss! Find your way through vast landscapes made of waste and sewage left behind by a past population! Venture through lush underwater forests! Fight the gargantuan creatures of the depths! Uncover the secrets of how humanity came to an end!
