Super Magnifier turns your camera into a magnifying glass with a flashlight, and into a text reader that reads small print aloud. Zoom in, freeze the picture to hold it still, and hear the words: medicine labels, menus, receipts, price tags, instructions, letters and books.
Made for people with low vision or visual impairment, for seniors, and for anyone whose reading glasses are in the other room. Large labelled buttons, a dark camera screen that is easy on the eyes, and nothing to set up before you start.
MAGNIFIER WITH FLASHLIGHT
- Zoom up to 8x with the zoom slider, a pinch or the volume keys (depending on your camera)
- Turn on the light to read in dim rooms, restaurants and cupboards
- Tap the picture to focus exactly where you are looking
- Freeze the view so shaky hands don't matter, then take a close look
- Exposure boost brightens dark or faded pages
- Flip to the front camera and use it as a magnifying mirror
READ TEXT ALOUD
- Freeze the view, or take a photo and tap Read text, to pick out the words (OCR on your device)
- Listen with text-to-speech at a speed that suits you
- See the text in large print, copy it or share it
- Text recognition reads printed English and other languages written in the Latin alphabet
VISION AID FILTERS
- Contrast, Grey, Invert and Amber filters help with glare, glossy paper and faint print (Android 12 and newer)
- Light, Dark or System theme
SAVE, EDIT AND SHARE
- Save a photo of anything you magnify
- Crop, rotate or draw on your photos
- Find photos, scanned documents and saved text in one gallery
Works on phones and tablets. Available in English, Bengali, Dutch, Filipino, German, Hindi, Khmer and Korean.
