will reportedly attend the event and meet with Qualcomm leadership to discuss various facets of their ongoing collaboration.

The Snapdragon Summit 2024 will be hosted for three days from October 21 to 23, but one of the great highlights of the event will be the next-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip.

TM Roh will also discuss the strategy and collaboration with Qualcomm, negotiate Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip prices for the Galaxy S25 series, and discuss Galaxy S24 flagship sales in the few markets where the phones are powered by Qualcomm solutions, such as the USA.

A final stretch for the Mixed Reality project

Another cited reason why TM Roh will visit Snapdragon Summit 2024 in Maui is to consult with Qualcomm's executives about the future of mixed reality (XR).

and revealed they're “Building the next XR experience.”

Both Samsung and Google teased the XR platform a few times since, and in June 2024, at the foldable-centric Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung finally confirmed its plans to debut the XR headset

The clock is ticking, and with less than three months before we enter 2025, the Samsung XR device should be just around the corner. We might even hear more about Qualcomm's contribution during the Snapdragon Summit next week. Not a lot has been confirmed so far, but everyone's guess is that a Qualcomm-made chip is powering the Samsung XR platform, while Google contributed a lot of the software and AI backbone.
