You can check for the new update now if you have an unlocked Galaxy Note 20 unit in the US. To do that, open the Settings app and navigate to Software update » Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from

and flash it manually using a Windows PC and the Odin tool.

The update doesn't bring any new features to the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. These phones didn't even get the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update.
