For his 11th birthday he got a Surface Pro 3 and started using StaffPad, a notation app that allows you to write music digitally using the Surface Pen, allowing him to compose, edit, playback and share music easily.
Garrett recently traveled to London to meet the creator of StaffPad, David William Hearn, a composer and now an app developer, too.
