Google is giving anyone who has a WiFi-only Stadia controller lying around an additional year to convert it to Bluetooth. The deadline to do this was previously until the , but Google is now extending it to December 31, 2024.

Switching your controller to Bluetooth is permanent. It takes about three minutes and requires a USB cable, to Google. If you’re having issues establishing a connection, Google advises making sure that the controller is charged for at least 30 minutes.
