It's been well over a year since Limbic Software that they'd partnered up with Flaregames to create a brand new entry in the ultra-popular Zombie Gunship [ / ] series, and after making as a demo game in the iPhone 7 hands-on area at Apple's event on Wednesday, the companies have now released a new first look video showing the game in action. Limbic's Community Manager Sheiva shows off what it's like to play through a round in the new game, tentatively titled Zombie Gunship, Inc., in the video below.
It's been a while since I've dabbled in the original Zombie Gunship, but I absolutely loved it back when it was new. It took the AC-130 levels from the Call of Duty series and turned them into a full-fledged game about protecting survivors from swarms of zombies. It felt bad ass blasting those undead jerks away from high in the sky. Zombie Gunship, Inc. looks like it has a few more strategic elements invovled, as well as a new arsenal of weaponry. The game should be soft-launching in select markets in "the coming weeks" with the full launch scheduled for sometime this winter.
